The crystallization happens so quickly that large air pockets are trapped within the rock, often giving samples a jagged, sharp appearance. Excellent for classroom mineral study and identification. A good example of pyroclastic material. Can be used in a variety of igneous classification exercises.While each specimen will vary slightly in shape, size and color, it will measure approximately 3" in length.
